A Second World War Aviation Excellence Badge, With Case, C. 1941 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Instituted on 11 February 1759In Silver, an eight point star with three rays along bordering each arm, the obverse presents a super imposed propeller reaching from 3 oclock to 9 oclock, with a silver gilt bird with outstretched wings sitting atop the propeller nose at 12 oclock, the reverse presents a single pin with Japanese script on the base and a small mark on the 6 oclock arm, measures 46. 50m (w) x 42. 05mm (h), weighs 40. 7grams, light oxidation, in very fine condition.
